Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd gained confidence after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell in the 1st round. Ladd returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous vote, leaving an ominous mark on her records in her amateur. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. InvictaFC 11 was her debut professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, but Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by pounding and grounding her, winning the TKO in the second round. The next time she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd defeated Evinger in the first round, and was awarded a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight in her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fights were one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC at ESPN 7. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was lost by majority decision.
