Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen began her professional career in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. InvictaFC 11 was her debut professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first fight as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight at 138.1lb.
